The Pacific Planetarium is happy to provide private shows for scout groups, birthday parties, church groups, and more. We currently are only able to schedule groups after 5pm. Reservations must be placed at least 2 weeks in advance and are subject to approval on a case-by-case basis.
Rental fees are:
Businesses/Private Parties: $200/hr for the planetarium, $100/hr for the multipurpose room.
Non Profits: $100/hr for the planetarium, $50/hr for the multipurpose room.
Organizations providing their own operator: $50/hr for the planetarium and multipurpose room.
All rentals must be reserved in one hour increments. The Pacific Planetarium has a capacity of 28 audience members and one operator. The multipurpose room includes several tables and bright, ceiling-mounted fluorescent lighting. It also includes access to a full kitchen with stove, microwave, and limited fridge and freezer space.
